Challenges and Solutions
We had to work closely with many departments, often together and in sequence to ensure areas could remain open and service continue with minimal disruption and working outside normal hours. Some areas required additional works after identifying water damage To address this, the following strategies were employed:
- Planning
Each area was carefully planned with our client and department heads to ensure areas were ready, work completed as planned in the agreed sequence. - Dust Control
Dust control measures were essential as these were all live areas with patients, staff and sensitive equipment protected throughout. - Respectful Approach:
Special consideration was given to the lab and office staff, ensuring their duties could be carried out undisturbed. - Effective Communication
Continuous communication with the hospital staff to understand their operational needs and ensure alignment with project activities.
Project Outcome
All areas were completed on program and to budget but only by working closely with all departments, keeping to agreed program and following strict protocols put in place.
